Hi everyone!
We are approaching the end of our Autumn term and wanted to catch up after a great start to the school year. We have had a busy term, as alongside our regular timetabled classes we also ran a fantastic Frozen workshop and all the separate events we organised to raise money for Children In Need. Spring isn't set to be any quieter with rehearsals starting for the showcase, so keep reading for more information and some highlights of the last term.
Children in Need & Tapathon
We always love coming together as a school to raise money for Children in Need and it really is a whole school event. Our adult tappers participated in Tapathon, where they learnt a routine and performed it alongside over 7,400 other participants nationwide. Our CRD children participated in Bring a Bestie Week and got to wear their favourite PJ's to class in return for making a small donation.
Along with the cake sale we held after Tapathon, we are thrilled to say we raised £322.16 for Children In Need.

SHOWCASE 2026 - Force of Nature
Our 2026 Showcase will take place at The Windmill Theatre, Littlehampton on Sunday 22nd March 2026 and the theme for this year is a force of nature!
Whilst we provide opportunities for our students to perform throughout the year, whether that is at various local events or school fairs, there is nothing quite like performing in a professional theatre with an audience full of family and friends cheering you on.
Registration for the show closes on Wednesday 31st December so please do not delay as it will be easy to forget once the chaos of Christmas truly kicks in. Please email us if you cannot find the email and we will be happy to forward it over again.
Order your CRD Uniform Now!
Order your CRD t-shirt or hoodie by 14th December to get it in time for Christmas. The website is updated with the sizes we can get in time but please message if you are in need of another size. Please follow the link below to place your order.
Term Dates and Fees
All Adult Dance Classes, Out of School Classes, Broadwater C of E and White Meadows Dance Classes start week commencing Monday 5th January.
St Philip's & St Mary's Dance Classes start week commencing Monday 12th January.
Please do not forget that fees are due this Friday 12th December. Please pay promptly and if you are not planning on continuing in 2026, please let us know so we can then offer your space to someone else.
CRD Christmas Parties
Don't forget about our CRD Christmas events on Wednesday 17th December as the closing date to register for these is fast approaching (Sunday 14th December.)
We have our Lil Beatz Christmas party in the morning for all preschoolers aged 1-4 years of age and their parents.
We also have our 2 Christmas Parties for all current CRD children in the afternoon and evening. These will be great fun and filled with dancing, music and games!

Goodbye Jess, Hello Georgie!
We are going to be so sad to see Jess leave us at the end of our Autumn Term. She has been an important member of the CRD team for many years and will be greatly missed. However, we are so excited to welcome Georgie to our CRD family to take her spot. Georgie covered a lesson earlier in the term so the children have already got to meet and be taught by her, and I'm sure you will all help welcome her to our wonderful school!
